Announcement regarding terminate DFT mining

Dear users:

According to Important: DFT total cap reduced. DFT buy back plan released. No more new DFTs released and DFT new mining rules, DigiFinex has stopped releasing more DFT and launched the last round of DFT mining to give away the DFT locked in mining pool 2. Since the amount of DFT in mining pool 2 is running low, DigiFinex decided 21st August is the last day of DFT mining. DFT is terminated from 22nd August onwards. Once mining terminated after 21st August all the remaining DFT in mining pool 2 will be burnt. Please refer to further announcement on that.

As we are working to be regulated in Singapore and aim for the upcoming license in Singapore, we are taking our legal adviser’s suggestion to stop DFT lock for daily rewards. Meanwhile we will keep lock DFT for extra rewards.

In order to secure DFT price, from DFT mining termination till 1st October, DigiFinex will take 80% of the transaction fees weekly to buy back DFTs from market and burn them. After 1st October DigiFinex will use 30% of its revenue monthly to buy back DFTs and burn them. DFT is entering deflation cycle.

In order to increase DFT value, DigiFinex will launch DFT transactions fee function soon. User can use DFT as transaction fees to get better discount.

Meanwhile we are also studying and exploring other means to increase DFT use case and DFT value. Please stay tuned for more announcement.
